Contribute for an anthology that puts a human face on America 's health care crisis. Established health writer/editor seeks true stories from/about women – patients, providers, caregivers, family members – sharing positive and negative experiences. Anthology will illuminate how the system is failing everyone, particularly women who shoulder much of the burden, and will offer models/alternatives that work for developing responsive, appropriate public policy. | The "Women's Health Insurance Coverage" 2008 fact sheet gives the status of healthcare insurance for women and highlights that the patchwork of coverage leaves 20% of non-elderly women uninsured. "The Uninsured and Their Access to Health Care" fact sheet includes 2005 data which shows that the number of the uninsured continued to grow between 2004 and 2005 by 1.3 million, the majority of whom are adults and those with low income. The 2007 fact sheet provides state by state estimates of uninsured women. |

| The Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids released a fact sheet with the current tax and the rankings of all states showing Maryland is 22nd. A second fact sheet gives more details such as the date last raised, the annual revenue raised by the tax, the total cost per smoker, the adult and children smoking rates and state ranking by these rates. |
