Annual Action Agenda

Each year the Coalition adopts an Action Agenda that includes specific focus areas and key strategies for implementation. Learn more about our work.

Focus Area #1 – Federal Reform

Primary Strategies include: (1) Work to ensure that comprehensive Federal reform legislation is passed, (2) Analyze the requirements for effective implementation of Federal reform in Maryland, and (3) Establish opportunities to work with legislators, partners and members to successfully implement Federal legislation.

Focus Area #2 – State Reform / Legislation

Primary Strategies include: (1) Ensure that State reforms coordinate with Federal actions, and (2) Influence proposals and strategies that move Maryland to comprehensive reform.

 Focus Area #3 – State Reforms / Public Health Issues

Primary Strategy: Ensure that the state's public health resources provide optimum access to, and delivery of, health care for all Marylanders.

Focus Area #4 – Coalition Organization / Administration

Primary Strategy: To ensure that the Coalition's resources meet its Agenda and Members' needs.
